Story of the campsite
A wonderful family story
The story began with the great grandparents and grandparents of Nicolas, the manager. Formerly agricultural land, it was in 1984 that Simone and Maurice (Nicolas’ parents) decided to turn their farm into a campsite, and that was how the camping Le Ranch was born. A campsite on the farm offering equestrian activities and a chance to see the cows being milked.
From father to son
Nicolas followed in the footsteps of his parents and took up the torch in 2011. Since then, he has put his heart and soul into offering you wonderful holidays in a welcoming family atmosphere, whilst also working to modernise the campsite. In 2016 a new aquatic area saw the light of day: an outdoor pool and a covered pool with waterslides, paddling pool, water games, whirlpool seating and solarium terrace… Everything has been carefully planned to delight all ages. In 2019; the camping Le Ranch joined the large Yelloh! Village family and also created a mini farm with dwarf goats, sheep, chickens and alpaca, a wonderful way to reconnect with the important things in life!
And today?
The Bourmeau family continues to cultivate the spirit of traditional camping and the convivial family ambiance so dear to them. Nicolas, Clémence and the whole team will be proud to welcome you to their world, at the Yelloh! Village Le Ranch. A particularly special location only 800 metres from the Le Cormier beach, a medium-sized campsite with 59 rental units and 63 camping pitches and, of course, an environment that is well cared-for and meticulously maintained. Everything is here to guarantee that you’ll spend a fabulous stay at the seaside, near Pornic, in the southern Loire Atlantique.
