Boasting both ocean and nature, the towns and villages of our beautiful Loire-Atlantique department have so much to offer. Salt marshes, historical marine bases, mills, a surprising mechanical elephant, a giant snake, shellfish farming in abundance and lovely flower gardens… each town has its own charm and its own unique way of enhancing your holiday, so you can be sure of an unforgettable experience.

The parks

Come and enjoy the wildlife parks and theme parks close to our Le Ranch camping village! The amusement parks are unique, as they provide entertainment that you just don't find anywhere else: a zoo featuring historical shows as well, a paradise for animals, nature and children, a 10km safari track and plenty more! A great opportunity to learn things and have a great time too!

Stunning beaches nearby

In addition to our heated water park, the ocean is also just a stone's throw away. The Loire-Atlantique coast boasts numerous beaches, perfect for a spot of sunbathing. Or a dip in the ocean.

Amongst all the beaches on our doorstep, we have three firm favourites:

- Plage du Cormier, the closest beach to the Le Ranch campsite, is known for its small sandbank. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset.

- Plage de l’Étang, in the charming resort of Pornic. There is a short walk from the car park to access the beach. But it’s worth it for the wild landscape and the feeling of being at the edge of the earth.

- Plage de Gohaud, in St-Michel-Chef-Chef, is an idyllic spot for shore fishing. The scenery is breathtaking, with rocky cliffs overlooking the sand.

Unusual activities
